Points System for Short Course
The racer that finish’s all laps in both motos with the lowest finishing positions in both motos will win for the day.
Example- Racer #1 gets a 1st, in the first moto and a 1st in the second moto. 1st & 1st = 2 (lowest possible score you can get)
If there is a tie in the score, then the racer will be decided by who finishes the best in the second moto.
Example- Racer #1 gets 1st in the first moto, and a 2nd on the second moto. Score = 3. Racer #2 gets a 2nd in the first moto, and a 1st on the second moto. Score = 3.The tie breaker is decided by the second moto. Racer #2 finished ahead of racer #1. Racer #2 wins the race for the day.
Determining finishing position if a racer does not finish all laps in both motos combined for the day. The racer with the most laps completed, will win over a racer with fewer laps completed.
Example- Racer #3 went 19 combined laps, and racer #4, went 18 combined laps. Racer #3 went the furthest distance. Therefore racer #3 wins over racer #4.
If there is a tie in laps completed in both motos combined, then the tie breaker goes to whomever finishes the best in the second moto.
Example- Racer #6 has 7 laps from first moto and 10 laps from the second moto, for 17 combined laps, and finishes 10th for the day. Racer #7 has 8 laps in the first moto and 9 laps in the second moto, for a total of 17 laps, and finishes 11th for the day. Both have the same # of laps. Racer #6 wins, because that racer finished better than racer #7, in the second moto.
